The Monmouth Medical Center’s Child and Adolescent Crisis Diversion Program is a brief outpatient program that focuses on meeting the emotional, behavioral and psychiatric needs of children and adolescents between the ages of 5-17 and their families, by providing rapid access to mental health services. Our goal is to provide a safe, compassionate and trauma sensitive environment to youth and their families to decrease the need for a higher level of care and to maintain safety in the community. Our multidisciplinary team will work collaboratively with you and your child to help overcome these challenges so that symptoms can be stabilized and your child can begin to function at their full potential.

Mental Health Association of Monmouth County- "...[provides] advocacy and services to families in Monmouth County and identifying gaps in the mental health system of care in collaboration with community, county, and state partners to close those gaps. MHAMC’s work is driven by our commitment to promote mental health as a critical part of overall wellness, including prevention for all, early identification and intervention for those at risk, services for those who need them, with recovery as a goal."
Some services include but not limited to:
- Family Consultation Program- Support and education for families who have a loved one with a mental illness.
- Family Crisis Intervention Unit (FCIU) & Wrap-Around Counseling Services- Provides individual & family counseling, intervention and and referral services to Monmouth County youth.
