Good Morning Ramilies,
I am hopeful everyone remains safe and well. It is very difficult to believe that we are now in the beginning of June and only have a little over two weeks of school left. I want to sincerely thank all of the parents and guardians, as well as the devoted staff members of Ramtown School, for their adaptability, patience, understanding, and positivity throughout this journey with remote learning.
I would be remiss if I did not give a huge shout out to our students, as well. At such a young age, they have been placed in a world so very unfamiliar to each of us. I am proud of the manner through which students have persevered through this difficult time without friends, sports, and school activities to name but a few.
I want you to know that all of our families are missed deeply. I ask that you continue to access our district AND school websites that contain important information about the upcoming weeks. Information pertaining to ‘drop off/pick up’ dates for school materials and your child’s personal belongings was sent via email a short time ago. This information will be posted on our website as well. Students will be prescribed a “Passion Project” choice for the remaining days of school following the return of their laptops and chargers on June 17th – 19th (as per the assigned date and time).
Please be advised that students’ last day has now been moved to Monday, June 22nd. I will continue to reach out to the Ramtown Community via email and short video segments. Mr. Harvey and I are also working with classroom teachers to attend an upcoming Zoom meeting with your child so that we can wish you well into the upcoming summer months.
As always, please contact the school should you have any questions or concerns. Remember…Once a Ram…Always a Ram!
Mr. Bohrer
